Pretty Pathetic

Was just now lying in bed falling asleep when I remembered I hadn't posted anything today. How pathetic is that.
I haven't posted anything because I've spend 90% of my day on the couch in pajamas with my dog and a blanket and 27 cups of hot tea trying to soothe my sore throat that just won't go away.
My head is disconnected from anything going on in the real world, and my neck is having a heck of a time holding it up.
Five more days of November and then I can resume my non-posting schedule.

Ouch. As is obligatory in these cases, I must say "it's going around." So, uh, it's going around.
Take care. I think the tea works by drowning the illness. What's the old saying? "Drown a cold, immolate a fever?"

We've all had this same yucky stuff... Sore throat, drippy nose. The girls are the most pitiful... Hope you're feeling better soon.
